Independent Contractor / Promotional Products Sales



A world leader in promotional products is expanding its sales force nationwide in the USA.  We are looking for experienced individuals with a proven track record of successful sales.  The qualified candidates will be responsible for the sales of any kind of promotional products by fostering and maintaining accounts throughout the various territories throughout the country.  Ideally, this is a great opportunity for an existing independent sales representatives who already has a “Book of Business” and who would like to add to expand their current product offerings.  The successful individuals will have experience calling on any type of company in any industry.  


Function & Scope of Position:

As a member of our sales team, this person is responsible for a portfolio of products.  This position will promote the sales of an existing portfolio of products, provide you with a dedicated internal account manager, sourcing manager, and logistics team to support your growth and business.  This role will work closely and interact with the Sales Director to ensure products meet the company’s standards.  We will provide you with an excellent support staff and reward you for what you do best, bringing in business.  If you have the “harder I work, the more I make” mentality and just need a great group of products to sell, we want to talk to you.


Task & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for selling our complete line of promotional products and capabilities.  You will drive accounts utilizing sales and market strategy.  Become an advocate for accounts and bridge the gap between our company and our overseas manufacturers.  Will constantly seek to establish new accounts, develop strategic partnerships with other companies to strengthen positioning in the market, uncover and provide solutions to prospects’ needs. Ability to meet with customers face-to-face and present if required throughout the week.  Positive attitude, self-starter, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial spirit.  Weekly calls with Sales Director.  


Skills, Qualifications, and Required Experience:

  • Strong Communication (written/oral), presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivated, Energetic, Goal Oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop mature and professional business relationships
  • Experience in B2B environment, established business development skills required
  • Superior Persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Detailed knowledge of promotional products and branded merchandise:  2 years
  • Sales:  2 years



  • Uncapped Commission
